Episode Summary
Hard Gay has decided to tackle a big problem in Japan, the trash left in the parks after the many sakura viewing parties during the spring. To do this he goes out on Patrol, talking to people while they're in the park, telling them to take their trash home with them.
Translator's Notes
In the beginning, whenever the Bakuten people are talking to each other, a few of their lines were not translated properly, as they were hard to hear, and not exactly all that important. The only person who is really important in the beginning is the main guy who reads the letters from HG.
And for those who don't know, sakura means cherry blossom.
The line that HG chooses to come into the camera with this time is actually another show that interviews stars and the like to try and get to know them, much like Actor's Studio, only not just for actors. A recent one that was just aired in March this year was with Ichiro, the baseball player that has been playing in the American leagues for a while now. The show is also aired on TBS, the network that Bakuten, and by extension HG, airs on.
When HG gets mad at that guy on the phone, it's because the guy hasn't been paying any attention to HG and says something completely unrelated that is hard to translate out of context.
"Negative ions" at the end of the episode refers to a health phenomenon, wherein naturally occuring higher-than-normal concentrations of negative ions in the air help to promote relaxation and general good health. These concentrations usually accumulate near oceans and in less-polluted areas, such as in a public park with a lot of trees.
