After the Second Wave forum crash Bakakage was first reborn as a Yahoo! Group. However since Yahoo! Groups suck a new forum soon opened up under the top secret address http://www.bakakage.com/bkf/. Only active members from before the crash got invited to this forum which featured a different skin and gave birth to a few new BK Trends.

The original forum eventually got restored September 29, 2004 from a back-up containing all posts up to June 1, 2004. The threads from the period June 1 - June 7, 2004 never got backed-up and, for better or worse, the posts from that period will never be recovered; this includes the threads after Kurt Meyer's passing. The exile forum and its posts got deleted after the original forum was restored, marking the beginning of the Third Wave.
