It could be said that Bakakage was born out of conflict. JoDB and many of the original used to be forum members of a large Naruto forums called NarutoForums. Everything was happy and filled with pretty colors (maybe), until a new admin that would soon changed the very foundations and traditions of NarutoForums. Promoted by Tazmo (the owner) himself, the admin called herself Angelic. She created and inforced strict and unjust rules to the forums. Such cases were abolishing custom titles, limiting sig space, and banning members. As time passed, many members were no longer able to endure such abuse and demanded change. JoDB was one of these members. And so, he created Bakakage on Febuary 3, 2004. It was a place where members who refused Angelic's tyranny could talk and flame with much more relaxed rules. In the first week of it's creationo, Bakakage was open for all. Many of the active members right now are from this time period.
